Similar to the previous Segway scooter I reviewed, the actual performance of the GT2 was more impressive than the website lists. They claim the Segway gt2 can do 0-30mph in less than 4 seconds, which was accurate, but that claim is conservative considering the numbers I was able to achieve as a 200 lb rider. The top speed is listed as 44mph but my on board speedometer showed 48mph at one point, although I do believe the speedometer on the Segway gt2 reads just a little bit fast compared to my gps speedometer. Segway gt2 range will likely land just shy of 30 miles if you ride the way I do in this review video, but if you're a bit more conservative on the twist throttle you could potentially achieve the 55 mile range claimed by the Segway website. All things considered the Segway gt2 is one heck of an electric scooter from a brand who's been in the game for decades and know how to do things right.
