Green tea soap making. In this video I show you how I make cold process soap with a jasmine green tea infusion. Making soap with tea is a fun and easy way to give homemade soap a little something extra :-) The recipe is included in the video and also in the description box. MUSIC: ZURA - LAZY SONG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yve1Y… RECIPE: I calculate my recipes with the calculator at soapee.com: http://soapee.com/calculator Total batch weight ~ 855g Olive oil 40% - 240g Coconut oil 30% - 180g Shea butter 20% - 120g Castor oil 5% - 30g Apricot kernel oil 5% - 30g Green tea infusion - 151.9 g NaOH (lye) - 84.4 g Superfat - 5% Water to lye ratio - 1.8:1 (Lye concentration - 35.7%) Optional : Titanium dioxide to lighten the soap. I used 1 tsp dispersed in 2 tsp distilled water. I scented my soap with a mix of ylang ylang, folded sweet orange, cedarwood and lavender essential oils. #greenteasoap #teasoapmaking
