How did we get our Canadian Permanent Residency while still living in Brazil? In this video, we tell our story from our first contact with Canada, through our exchange program, our visit to the country, our plan to live in Calgary, our decision to abandon that path, and our return to Brazil. We also talk about an important part of our process: studying French in Brazil and how that helped Renato in his immigration planning for Canada. This isn't an immigration guide or a ready-made formula, but a real-life experience from someone who researched, changed course, and tried to make decisions with more confidence. Today we live in Toronto, and looking back, we can see that the path to our Permanent Residency involved expectations, fear, planning, doubts, and learning.
