Buttermilk - Eastern Sierras Episode 2

In this second episode of our adventures through the Buttermilk Country of the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains with ‪@flyfisher530‬ , we start the day with a hearty breakfast. Afterward, we head up to higher elevations to see if the snow is drivable. As we traverse through the snowy woods under the shadow of Mount Emerson and Piute Crags, we discover incredible vistas and new camping spots. After being stopped short of Lake Sabrina due to a closed road, we found a good spot on the Owens River for some fly fishing. We spend our last night camping under the stars in Buttermilk Country, riding out a wind storm and waking up to an incredible sunrise with coffee, sausage, and amazing lemon blueberry pancakes.
