It Took Me 8 Years to Convince My Childhood Friend to Come to China...

Ever since I came to China for the first time in 2018 as a tourist, I've always try and convince my childhood friends around me to go to China once. Obviously, China is not very close to Europe when it comes to travel, and it still remains "mysterious" or "unknown" in a lot of Europeans' eyes. That is why today I finally managed to convince one of my best friend to come to China with his girlfriend and explore Chongqing for the first time with me as their 'local' guide. Chongqing serves as the perfect city for first-timers since it can give the best culture shock in my opinion. Its crazy skyline, lightshows, beautiful temples, and not to forget amazing cuisine are the perfect combination for a 'first time in China' adventure. I myself have been living in Chengdu for 3 years now and have been studying the Chinese language for about 9 years now.
