This small hamlet of San Esteban de Gormaz, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, has a very small population but boasts an impressive medieval heritage. In this travelogue, we'll show you its unique urban layout, its stone and mud streets, and its traditional houses built with adobe and timber framing. 🏡✨ We'll also take you to see its two great monumental jewels of Soria's Romanesque porticoed architecture from the 11th and 12th centuries: the Church of San Martín and the Church of San Ginés. Of course... the trip held a little surprise of rural life in May, and we had to make the most of its facades, arches, capitals, and porticoed galleries from the outside. ⛪🔒 Join us on this leisurely journey through rural Spain, where we discover old communal bread ovens, watering troughs, and all the charm of the Soria region of the Ribera del Duero.
