Intro to Chapter 9: What is Exergy?
In this video we start to define what Exergy is for a system. Exergy is simply how much of my energy can actually do work. After all, a system in equilibrium with its environment contains lots of energy, however, it has no ability to produce work. The amount of work I can get out of a system is important to know so we can set upper limits on our performance.
