Bell Ringing at Hereford Cathedral

Hereford Cathedral are a fun old clonky ring of 10 they are hard to handle due to the low draft and the ropes falling close to the beams they are rather loud in the ringing room (the bells tended to shout through the rope holes.) We only rang the front 6 and the clonking was very noticable due to the bells being directly above. There is lots of room upstairs in the belfry (intentions to augument to 12 have been mentioned, and to move the ringing room floor down to where it used to be before the victorians moved it).The Cathedral is very rich in history and has a lot of lovely stained glass.
