However, the excitement was short-lived as I eagerly awaited the results of my first-panel interview. Despite the anticipation and diligent follow-up, the news was not what I had hoped for. I received an email stating that I was not selected for the position. It was a disappointment, and I couldn't help but feel downhearted. But in life, setbacks often come with valuable lessons. I reflected on the experience and realized that there were valuable takeaways and opportunities for growth. On the same day, I received an unexpected email from the Hamilton Police Service, inviting me for a physical evaluation for the Special Constable position.
