While the bold green dial and gold indices, coupled with an unusual internally rotating bezel designed to find true north, may not be to the typical tool watch collector's taste, the Alpinist in this configuration represents a very unique interpretation of the sports watch. Considering it's sub $400 price, it's no wonder that it's a cult classic.
