The tires on the Losi NASCAR don't grip so well right out of the box due to the glossy surface of the tires. By using a Scotch-Brite pad with the aid of a tire break-in chuck and a drill, you can scuff up the tire surface to expose fresh rubber. This will offer more consistent grip, and aid in the absorption of your favorite traction compound.
