Unforgotten - Metal Detecting a 1700’s Farm with an American Revolutionary War Soldier Buried Nearby

This week we get access to metal detect a colonial era farm, but what makes this farm extra special is that an old family burial plot sits smack dab in the middle of the field! We were told by the farmer that the grave markers go back to the 1700's and that a fallen Revolutionary War soldier is buried there. Centuries ago this soldier's family owned the land and had a house somewhere in the immediate area but were weren't sure of its exact location. So we venture out to visit his final resting place and also to try and locate the original homestead. Now we are of the mindset that detecting within the hallowed walls of a grave site is disrespectful, but we will search the surrounding fields in hopes to find some small personal effect from his life.
