The Enchanted Forest is a dark walkthrough attraction tucked inside Lilliput Castle at Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes. Often missed by visitors, the entrance is reached by climbing the slope or stairs next to the restaurant opposite the Gulliver’s Travels dark ride, then crossing a footbridge to the castle’s upper level. Inside, guests explore a dimly lit woodland packed with themed animatronics, glowing mushrooms, fantasy sound effects, and storybook characters. The forest is designed to feel like stepping into a living fairy tale and is ideal for younger children and families looking for quieter, imaginative experiences away from the more energetic rides in the park. Gulliver’s Land opened in 1999 and remains focused on delivering family fun for children aged 2 to 13. The park includes zones such as Lilliput Land, Adventure Land, Western World, and the JCB Zone, which was added in 2017 with rides themed around diggers and construction. The most recent addition to the park is the Upside Down House, opened in May 2025 near Dragon Siege, replacing the former Jousting Castle ride. The park also features overnight accommodation in the Adventurers Village, with themed lodges and dens like the Princess Suite, JCB Cabins, and Dino Dens, perfect for weekend breaks or Play and Stay packages. Families can also explore attractions including the Dinosaur and Farm Park, Splash Zone, Blast Arena, and The SFEAR. Gulliver’s Land is one of four Gulliver’s parks in the UK, alongside Gulliver’s World in Warrington, Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath, and Gulliver’s Valley in South Yorkshire. Each location is tailored for younger guests with age-appropriate rides, immersive lands, and live entertainment. The park is located near to the proposed site of Universal Studios UK, making it a great stop for families visiting the Milton Keynes area and a must-visit destination for theme park fans in the years ahead.
