It’s based on the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, swapping a petrol engine for a powerful electric motor. There are standard and M versions available, but both officially manage over 300 miles of range and quick acceleration times. In fact, the i4 M50 could match a petrol-powered BMW M4 off the line! But the i4 is also impressive in the corners, being one of the best-driving EVs we’ve ever tested.
