Banning games before the ESRB
Episode 77 - Before the Creation of the ESRB, the video game industry had been rocked by special interest groups petitioning for government involvement. The goal was to ban video games altogether or at the very least, pressure the government to regulate and restrict what these companies could publish. The result saw some games get banned.
