These are the so-called Badlands, where rain and strong winds cause the kind of erosion that we motorcyclists find so much fun. It's also known as the Arizona of Burgos, due to its formations, colors, and clay mountains. We could say we're in Morocco, the Monegros desert, or even the Bardenas Reales, but we're not.
