A Gnarly Noosa Bar. Tuesday morning, March 7, 2023.

The bar was pretty punchy this morning and a few boats got some quite impressive air on the way out. Too much action for one video so I'll do a couple. Apart from the 'Gnarly Bar' scenario it was quite pleasant at the river mouth though, with a light 3 to 5 knot north westerly breeze blowing. BOM forecast: Northerly winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas: Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres by early evening. Swell: Easterly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore.
