The crew of the Starship Farragut returns in the sequel to the award-winning Farragut Forward film (a Star Trek fan production): FARRAGUT 2024, the second chapter of the Farragut Forward trilogy. Picking up immediately after the events of Farragut Forward, the crew is assigned a critical mission to track down a rogue Starfleet officer who has stolen dangerous radioactive material—powerful enough to be used as a planetary weapon. During their pursuit and attempted apprehension of the suspect, the Farragut is thrust across time and space, landing near Earth in the year 2024.
