Hi, I am Bharat, a traveller from India, writing my travel experiences at https://travelparable.com/ I traveled to Iran in 2019, where Damavand mountain climbing was certainly among the best activities I did in the Alborz mountains of Iran. Mount Damavand tour was done with some newly met local Iranian people, with whom I developed good friendship in Tehran. Damavand summit stands at an altitude of 5810 meters above the sea level and it is the highest mountain in Iran. Alborz mountain range in Iran stretch parallel to the southern coast of Caspian sea, and mount Damavand, which is a part of Alborz mountains, is located in the southern part Mazandaran Province in North of Iran. Besides being the highest summit in Iran, Damavand volcano is the highest volcano in Asia. Damavand peak conquest adventure is equally famous among both the international tourists and native Persian/ Iranian climbers and hikers. In fact all the people whom I met on our way to the Damavand peak were mostly Persians only. In the last part of the mount Damavand climb, Damavand peak rush was seen, where so many people gathered and shared their experiences of Damavand trekking and Damavand peak conquest.
