What Were Things Like Initially?
Nirvana's first professional recording sessions took place with producer Jack Endino at Reciprocal Recordings in Seattle, on January 23rd, 1988. Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic & Dale Crover was Nirvana's lineup at the time. If You Must, Downer, Floyd The Barber, Paper Cuts, Spank Thru, Hairspray Queen, Aero Zeppelin, Beeswax, Mexican Seafood & Pen Cap Chew were the songs they recorded that day. Later that night, the Nirvana had a performance at the Community World Theater in Tacoma, playing the exact same songs in the exact same order, with the additions of Annorexcorcist & Raunchola/Moby Dick.
