IN FULL: Family of Captain Sir Tom Moore grilled over £800,000 book profits

The family of Captain Sir Tom Moore have been grilled by Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan over claims they used the captain's foundation after his death for financial gain. The 100-year-old raised £38.9 million for the NHS during lockdown by making 100 laps around his garden. The captain’s daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moore, admitted to keeping £800,000 made from three books he had written despite suggesting the money would go to charity. Ms Ingram-Moore claims Captain Tom told her personally that he wanted the money to "sit in Club Nook”. The books were "never anything to do with the charity", she added. Ms Ingram-Moore was also questioned over her reported £85,000 salary as head of the foundation.
