Flash Mob by Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Hong Kong at Pacific Place during Chinese New Year

To welcome the Year of the Horse in good spirit and positive energy, Pacific Place's "Shoals of Prosperity" Chinese New Year campaign is filled with wonderful shopping rewards and exhilarating entertainment performances. To echo the message of bringing positive energy in this festivity, in a new twist on the flash mob format, the renowned the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Hong Kong -- rated as one of the finest youth orchestras in Asia -- serenaded visitors at Pacific Place on 18 January with an impromptu performance of popular Chinese classical pieces, including The Mahjong Heroes, Pearl of the Orient and Below the Lion Rock.
