Getting over yourself doesn’t need to have such a negative connotation. It can be a very positive thing! When we realize that there are things inside of us that prevent ourselves from becoming who we want to be, and doing what we want to do, we see that a part of our journey in life is learning to master ourselves. So take those thoughts captive, practice self control, quit believing the lie that you need to play it safe and enjoy your journey without the expectation that life is supposed to be a certain way and you need to become the “idealized” version of yourself.
