Doreen Falls – Doreen Bushman Cave – Ribbon Falls – Mushroom Rock Loop - Cathedral Peak Hotel.

KwaZulu – Natal South Africa. Lower Berg Beautiful walk which took approximately 5 ½ hours from Cathedral Peak Hotel. Regarding fitness, if you are not fit, this loop may prove challenging and could be classed as difficult considering some of the climbs and steps coming down. Should you be moderately to very fit you will manage comfortably. Suggest whenever you cross / pass by rivers to fill up with water. Due to their being a lot of rain, some places both ascending and descending were slippery. Make sure you have your cameras as this walk including along the escarpment facing onto the main Drakensberg, is breath-taking. Well done to my Polish guests for completing this hike.
