Colsterdale | Nidderdale | Coverdale | Witton Moor

A superb XC ride in the Yorkshire Dales taking in Colsterdale and Steel House Gill, over to Nidderdale before heading over Dead Man's Hill into Coverdale. The ride continues to East Witton and climbs up onto Witton Moor before a fantastic bridleway descent alongside Slipstone Crags to finish the ride. HOW TO GET THERE: The ride starts at the hamlet of Gollinglith Foot in Colsterdale, which lies about 6 miles west of Masham along a minor road. There is a small parking area next to a red telephone box. Masham can reached via the A6108 from Leyburn or Ripon, or the B6268 from Bedale which is situated near to junction 51 of the A1(M) motorway. Post ride, there are a number of facilities in nearby Masham including cafes, pubs and shops.
