Lathe Spindle Bearings, tear down, inspection, re-grease and adjustment

I had some noise and run out issues with the main spindle bearings of my Chinese 5x18 lathe (10x18 for you guys in the US and 125x450mm for the metric world) . This shows how to dismantle, re-assemble and adjust it. -- Please subscribe, it's free for you but does really help me to keep this channel going as YT just announced further restrictions to small channels which makes it even less attractive to spend time to produce new content. -- After greasing and adjustment it works acceptable for now, but i will change the bearings rather sooner than later, just need to find some suitable taper roller bearings. The machine sits on a cart so i can move it out of the way, that's why it is shaking a bit.. Update 03/2016:...found some bearings, so the bearing replacement will be coming at some time ....
