We knew living in Ethiopia was going to be an adventure, but I never expected to find a thriving, high-energy skate scene tucked away on a hillside in Addis Ababa. When my son randomly announced he wanted to learn how to skateboard, I thought we’d be practicing in a quiet parking lot. Instead, we stumbled upon the Addis Skatepark! A vibrant community that is completely rewriting the rules of the city. In this video, I’m taking you inside the heart of this underground subculture to meet the incredible women of @ethiopian_girl_skaters.
