Welcome to another day of our Easter campervan road trip! 🚐✨ Today the sun shines on us with a pleasant 18°C, perfect for enjoying one of the most fulfilling and beautiful days of our entire journey through the South of France. We started the morning with an immersive experience at the Carrières des Lumières. Seeing the works of Claude Monet and Rousseau projected onto the quarry walls is a spectacle of light and color that moved us all, especially seeing the faces of our friends and our son. Our route continues as we discover medieval treasures: 📍 Castillon-du-Gard: A small village of golden stone with privileged views of the Pont du Gard. Its cobbled streets and Provençal charm make it irresistible. 📍 Uzès: For many, the most elegant village in the area. We visited the first Duchy of France, the iconic Tour Fenestrelle, and soaked up the unique atmosphere of the Place aux Herbes. We finished with a magical dinner under the nighttime illuminations! To end our trip, we made a mandatory stop in Mèze at the Le Mas Soula restaurant for a feast of oysters and mussels overlooking the sea. A magical moment before heading back to the port of Barcelona.
