History repeatedly shows that countries rarely collapse because they lack resources; they falter when ethnic divisions are allowed to overshadow the shared destiny of their people. Our diversity was never meant to divide us. It was meant to enrich us. The Holy Qur’an reminds us: “O mankind! We created you from a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Indeed, the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you.” (Qur’an 49:13) The Qur’an further calls on believers to remain united: “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided.” (Qur’an 3:103) The Bible delivers the same timeless warning: “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.” (Mark 3:24) And it reminds humanity: “There is neither Jew nor Greek… for you are all one.” (Galatians 3:28) When tribe becomes the measure for leadership, employment, justice and opportunity, merit is sacrificed and trust begins to disappear.
