NG1 Jurie van den Berg sailing home in heavy weather

As an American of Dutch descent I find this video a unique and graphic representation of the Dutch people's struggle with the sea. They have pushed it back for farm land, sailed it to become leaders in world commerce and plied the rough waters of the North Sea with their sturdy sea-worthy viskotters. This video was originally posted by jacobuk61 in October, 2006 as "NG 1 Jurie van den Berg uitstomende met slecht weer". The song, "Sailing Home", is by Dutch singer Piet Veerman. The music and lyrics match the movement of the beam trawler and the waves in perfect harmony and conflict just as the Dutch have lived in harmony and conflict with the sea for centuries. This also serves as a poignant tribute to those who have plied the seas for their livelihood and a solemn recognition that not all have returned from the sea.
