The ancient city of Amiternum and the birth of L'Aquila.

The documentary reveals an important discovery by archaeologists at the University of L'Aquila: two seals of Pope Gregory IX found under one of the altars of the church of Santa Maria in Amiternum, an important Roman city of the Imperial Age. This discovery could rewrite the history of the founding of L'Aquila, a vital city in medieval Italy. The documentary was made possible thanks to historical and archaeological research at the University of L'Aquila.
