Garmin RV1090 Install on a Ford Excursion. We were looking for a dependable RV GPS after our last RV GPS stopped working. Garmin is known for having the best GPS systems on the market so when they released the new RV 1090 we just had to get it. The large screen is awesome! For our install we used a permanent mount and ran the power cord through the dash. The placement of the GPS was very limited on the Excursion's dash but we found one place that worked beautifully.
