This motorhome trip through France is going to be very different for me. For the first time, I’m opening up about my journey with CPTSD, chronic depression, and life after military service, while revisiting some of the most emotional military locations in Europe. This isn’t just a history trip. This is a personal journey through the past, the present, and the battles that many veterans continue to fight long after the war ends. In this first episode, I travel solo through France to Sunken Lane on the Somme, reflecting on sacrifice, remembrance, and what trauma can leave behind.
