Various Artists - I.E.M.A. Collective Electronic Music Project #8

The I.E.M.A. collective tapes are a series of 8 compilation albums of electronic music released through the International Electronic Music Association, an independent label created in 1979 by James E. Finch. The last 2 tapes in the series were.. not lost? From what I could scrounge together this is the 8th tape in the IEMA Tape series I've been posting, but it's under a different name for... some reason. Not sure why this one (and #7) are uniquely different, but to be sure I asked Ken Moore about it and he told me these are part of the same series. I don't have #7 unfortunately, so this marks the end of the series, but regardless I'm just glad I was able to get my hands on this one. It has some of the best and most consistently good music any of these comps has to offer IMO (though they're all really great!) Progressive Electronic / New Age / Ambient / Slash.
