Supporting the education of children with long term health conditions, with Teapot Trust.

This recorded webinar supports professionals in understanding how long-term health conditions can impact children and young people’s education. It also explores how this relates to additional support for learning laws and guidance in Scotland. We were joined by Ally from the Teapot Trust, who provides art therapy to children and young people living with long-term health conditions across the UK, and Amber, a young person involved with Teapot Trust's 'Growing Up with Chronic Illness' project. In this webinar, we explore: • Children’s rights to support at school in Scotland. • How long-term health conditions can impact learning. • What professionals in and around schools can do to support children with long-term health conditions.
