4 Days Alone in the Carpathian Wilderness

I spent 4 days alone hiking through the wild Carpathian Mountains of Romania, crossing exposed ridges, sleeping on remote peaks and enduring cold mountain storms. During this journey I climbed Negoiu Peak, crossed Lespezi and Călțun, explored the remote Iezer ridge and faced heavy rain, strong winds and near-hypothermia conditions high in the mountains. 00:00 Hiking on Negoiu Peak, the second highest peak in Romania 06:15 Overnight on the peak, bivouac sleep 09:30 Descending and hiking Lespezi and Caltun Peaks 16:18 Hiking the ridge of the Iezer Mountains.
