Présentation d'un examen TEP-scan au CHU d'Angers
Angers University Hospital October 2012 This video takes you through the journey of a patient undergoing a PET scan. Positron emission tomography (PET) is an imaging test that involves injecting a weakly radioactive tracer into the blood. This tracer, labeled glucose, once injected, attaches to various organs and allows their function to be analyzed. A computer reconstructs a 3D, color image of the organ being observed.
