Today I joined a trip to the Dayak interior on a kelotok (traditional boat) with Dayak women. From afternoon, evening, and until morning, we searched for wild durians directly in the wild. Aisyah, Nurul, Lutfi, Roby, and Anjang Tuwe were with me. The results were extraordinary — hundreds of wild durians were found in just one night. This trip wasn't just about finding fruit, but also about experiencing firsthand the life of the Dayak people in the interior of Kalimantan, their traditions, togetherness, and the unspoiled bounty of nature. In the morning, the durians were sold directly to buyers who came by boat. A real village life in the heart of Borneo. Thanks for watching.
