Franz Brunner is one of the pioneers of mulched potato cultivation. He cultivates 70 hectares of organic arable land in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria and began implementing regenerative agriculture methods on his farm early on. His experiences with the use of mulch in potato cultivation are particularly impressive. He began his first experiments in 2006 and now cultivates several hectares of potatoes this way every year. In this video, Franz reveals what he believes is important in mulched potato cultivation and what fascinates him so much about this production technique.
