Punta La Marmora | Climbing Sardinia's Highest Mountain in the Shadow of a Storm
I recently found myself in Sardinia and decided to climb the islands highest mountain, Punta La Marmora. I parked near the Bruncu Spina Ski Lift and set off towards the summit of the peak via the trail across the road. There was a storm brewing and a high chance of me being rained off the mountain but I decided to go anyway. I had a great day hiking and was glad I took the risk with the weather. If you love hiking and are on a trip to Sardinia I would highly recommend trying this route out as it is great fun and the views are incredible. The mountain is also a great place to take some photos and videos, particularly if you use a drone like myself (DJI Mini 2).
