KOMPAS.TV - Residents from the East Kalimantan Community Struggle Alliance demonstrated in front of the East Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office. They demanded that law enforcement investigate alleged budget irregularities by the East Kalimantan Governor. The demonstration in front of the East Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office was a follow-up to a previous action demanding that the East Kalimantan Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) initiate an inquiry into East Kalimantan Governor Rudy Masud. The demonstrators demanded that law enforcement investigate alleged budget irregularities. The alleged irregularities included the 25 billion rupiah renovation of the Governor's official residence and the replacement of the President Director of Bankaltimtara, which is strongly suspected of being politically motivated.
