INEC to Review High Court Ruling on NDC Registration Status
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it has yet to receive the Certified True Copy of a recent Federal High Court judgment setting aside an earlier order regarding the registration status of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). The Commission states that it is awaiting the official documentation before taking further steps. Meanwhile, the NDC has accused INEC of frustrating its compliance with electoral procedures, alleging that the Commission failed to provide the access code required to upload candidates’ details on its nomination portal. Nnamdi Dickson-Ireogbu, a member of the Nigeria Democratic Coalition, joins the conversation.
