Some bands managed to live the dream, achieving their fifteen minutes of fame, while others never got the chance to let the world hear their often spectacular sound. This is the mission of The "Lost UK Jewels" Collectors Series. The Strutz story is an all-too-familiar tale of mismanagement and what could have been. After a few singles (released during 1985 and 1986, and here reissued on CD of the master-tapes), it was the emergence of bands like FM, Shy and Bon Jovi that shaped the band's definitive sound. During 1988, Strutz recorded the near-legendary 'white label' album, an album that was limited to just 500 vinyl copies and made even rarer due to most of them having been destroyed in a fire. Songs, including some final demos recorded in 1989, are featured here on “Through The Ages”.
