A n amazing sequence of events while we were in the National Reserve in september 2024. The chance to record the sequence is thanks to our expert Driver who is from Kenya. Charles, our driver works in Olare Motorogi Conservancy. A farmer from Naivasha, he has always lived in close proximity to the wild animals. This makes it possible for him to judge their moods and time their activities. We are really lucky to have been waiting in a suitable area to record this sequence, thanks to Charles'intuition and patience. Is my channel sponsored by Sony? No. Are the videos sponsored ? No. If you buy camera from the Amazon links provided, our channel earns a small commission. But why Sony and no other brand? I have been using Sony cameras for the last 26 years. Started with a Hi 8 camera to make documentaries( Sarang the Peacock -    • I Explored the life of Sarang - the Peacock   , To Corbett with Love -    • To Corbett With Love- a documentary set in...  ). Graduated to a Sony PD 150 later. Both these cameras became outdated when digital cameras arrived. So I had to discard these and buy a basic DSLR alpha camera. I shot with that camera for over ten years and now possess a mirrorless Alpha camera. Sony has been my companion in my journey of video making. How to start filming wildlife near you You don’t need a national park to begin: Local parks, lakes, wetlands Urban birds (parakeets, kites, mynas) Monsoon insects & amphibians Night shoots (bats, owls if accessible) Start with behavior, not rarity. Even common species make great content. Be a photographer who makes a difference to your community!
