.280 Ackley with the 145gr Barnes LRX: Load development and DOPE check out to 625 yards
Settling on a final Spring Bear load for the .280 Ackley Improved and the 145gr Barnes LRX. Then taking it out to 625 yards to verify the theoretical drop data. My shooting causes a bit of frustration, but I choose a load and am happy with the results. Now to take it into the field!
