Boxing Spotlight: Jacob Macalolooy (The Arena MMA)

He is the head instructor of Dragons Den San Diego. Aside from traditional martial arts, he has extensive, competitive experience in combat sports, including boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA. He graduated from Colombia University with a degree in Psychology. While there, he also competed in wrestling at the D1 level. He is on the “wall of fame” at James Logan High School, where he was captain of the wrestling team. He won the North Coast Section Wrestling Championship twice, as well as 2 California State Championships (USA Wresting - freestyle & SCWAY - folk style). He currently lives in San Diego and is boxing under trainer Basheer Abdullah.
