Mom Defends Letting Her 6-Year-Old Daughter Dye Her Hair Unicorn Colors

Six-Year-Old Lyra's smile is rainbow bright now that she has a new hairdo. It's dyed blue, yellow and purple to look like a unicorn. Lyra's mom, Mary, who's been hairstylist for a decade checked with the school to make sure it was ok before going to work. Many were quick to criticize after seeing photos of the first grader on Instagram. But Mary says the dye is nontoxic, temporary and washes out easily. #InsideEdition
