HOW TO PRACTICE WITH PLAY ALONGS

HI friends! In this video I am reviewing the importance of using play alongs in your practice routine. Very important points to keep in mind! 1) Not all play alongs are equal. 2) Use them for the purposes they are designed for. 3) Know what to work on when you are using them. 4) Make sure you have clear goals when integrating them into your practice routine and be sure to keep these goals in mind when playing. 5) Always have a proper coach / teacher to keep you going with inspiration and positive energy when you are working on material. One that can provide you with feedback based on many years of teaching and playing experience. Not a guy that has no gigs now and just started teaching for money. 6) As i say in the video...always always come from a musical perspective in your use of play alongs and you will get the most out of them.
