Sightreading Rachmaninoff cello sonata - andante 💕

backlog....and trying out live. I think I will try going live again for my next round of practice. ok I really really love this piece for its way of treating tension and release. feels like playing slime. it's a really lovely dialogue between the cello and piano....full of tenderness. the repeating Bb in my mind are one of the most hauntingly beautiful melodies I have heard and played...just a few simple Bb, but the meaning they carry can be so beautifully layered. would have to be play this with cello. its complicated already for the piano part, and even more now with the piano solo version 🤣 I hope you enjoy this practice too!
