88 Temples of Shikoku: Temples 41-88

Join us on our adventure along the 88 Temples of Shikoku as we trek from Temple 41-88. We had completed the journey from Temple 1-40 in 2020 and came back to finish the Henro or pilgrimage now in 2025, also completing the full circle by returning to Temple 1 and journeying to Koyasan on Mount Koya to the final resting place of Kobo Daishi. This incredible journey has given us a deep connection to the less visited and far more rural island of Shikoku. When you walk slowly through a land and you are able to experience it slowly, observing the local way of life, the connection becomes enhanced. Thank you to all the wonderful people we met along the way who made our experience more meaningful! The challenge was immense and worth every bit of effort.
